Iron on a flat padded surface.
Lay garment wrong side up on the padded surface, pin the corners adjusting measurements according to the pattern, making sure that rows are straight. Do not pin ribbing.
Pin every 2 cm along edges.
Use a damp cloth between the knitted garment and the iron. Do not press the iron on the cloth, only lightly touch the cloth. Leave the pins in until thoroughly dry. Do not iron ribbing (except opposite indications). For yarns that should not be ironed, steam the surface (except for ribbing) without touching the garment with the iron and let it dry before removing pins.
